Established in 1982,  2ND AVENUE RECORDS is a quintessential brick and mortar independent record store. Our store is centrally located in downtown near the historic Saturday Market, Voodoo Doughnut, and Kells Irish Pub. Originally located in  a 600 square foot storefront,  we now reside in a  more spacious storefront three blocks north at 121 SW 2nd Avenue. Our stock consists primarily of new and used records - new releases and classics - but you will also find an ample stock of CDs and cassettes. Genres include rock,  jazz, soul, funk, rap, blues, reggae, 60s,  a good supply of metal & punk,  and more.  In addition, we have a HUGE  selection of t-shirts. We buy record collections (cassettes, CDs and  t-shirts as well). No appointment is  necessary to sell  but a phone call in advance is  helpful.
